Iran’s ‘Elephant’s Shadow’ to go on screen in Turkey

Iranian short ‘Elephant’s Shadow’ is to compete at the Iranian Short Film Month in Turkey.

Iranian short film ‘Elephant’s Shadow’ has been set to go on screen during a special event in Turkey.

The event titled “Iranian Short Film Month” hosts 9 Iranian short films.

‘Elephant’s Shadow’ tells the story of a young woman named Leila whose father is sick.

According to his doctors, Leila’s father has only a few days left to live.

His only concern is for Leila’s welfare as he knows how difficult life can be for a divorcee in Tehran.

Leila plans a scenario to let her father die peacefully.

Every week, two Iranian films are screened at the festival and an online Q&A session with the director is held.

Iranian Short Film Month is now underway and will continue to March 7 in the Turkish city of Izmir.
